The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dentist to manage Preventive Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Implant cases. While our lead specialist focuses on complex prosthetics and maxillofacial rehab, you will have the opportunity to lead the preventive and restorative department of the practice along with the other dentist who is focused on oral surgery. Compensation per day is $850 or 32~37% of net collection.
Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using advanced dental imaging techniques.
Conduct scaling and periodontal charting, minor oral surgery procedures, and manage minor cases of prosthodontics to restore function and aesthetics.
Utilize Dentimax, Dentrix, or similar platforms to document patient information accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Implement infection control protocols following aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to comprehensive patient care.
Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with legal standards while managing medical imaging and documentation diligently.
Qualifications
Valid WA state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Clean of disciplinary action on license.
Must be credentialed with Medicaid and Medicare dental insurance.
3+ years of experience in implantology and oral surgery is preferred.

Strong clinical skills in geriatric dentistry both preventive and restorative, some oral surgery (Alveoplasty, Tori removal, Tuberosity reduction, etc.), and dental surgical extractions.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration in a fast-paced setting.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning medical records and patient confidentiality.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $850.00 per day
Work Location: In person
