Job Description
Periodontist (Board-Certified or Board-Eligible)
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Periodontist to join our growing, patient-focused dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide exceptional periodontal care in a modern, collaborative environment that values clinical excellence, innovation, and outstanding patient experiences.
Our practice offers a Monday through Friday schedule
Responsibilities
Diagnose, prevent, and treat periodontal (gum) disease through comprehensive patient evaluations and dental examinations.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's oral health needs.
Perform advanced periodontal procedures, including:
Scaling and root planing
Periodontal surgery
Soft tissue grafting
Regenerative procedures
Dental implant placement
Tooth extractions, when indicated
Interpret diagnostic imaging and clinical findings to support accurate treatment planning.
Collaborate with general dentists and dental specialists to provide comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to infection control and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Periodontics preferred.
Current state dental license (or eligibility for licensure).
Experience with periodontal surgery, dental implants, and regenerative procedures.
Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, dental and medical terminology, and periodontal diagnosis.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
