Specialist Opportunity | Periodontics | Growing In-House Program

About the Opportunity

Thorncliffe Dental Centre is seeking a qualified Periodontist to join our well-established Toronto practice on an in-house specialist basis. With over 40 years serving the community and a multi-generational patient base, this is a fantastic opportunity to build and grow a thriving in-house periodontal program with a consistent and reliable internal referral base.

With 6 active dentists generating consistent referrals and a robust hygiene program actively identifying perio cases, the demand is already there — we are looking for the right specialist to bring this service in-house and deliver exceptional care to our patients without the need for external referrals.

Highly established practice with 40+ years in the community

Long-tenured, collaborative team with a supportive culture

6 active dentists providing consistent internal referrals

Robust hygiene program actively generating perio cases

Fully equipped with Nobel Biocare implant kits, surgical motor, and restorative kits — ready for immediate onboarding

Schedule

1 day per month initially (Monday or Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Flexible scheduling with strong potential to grow based on demand

Clinical Scope

Soft tissue grafting

Implant placement

Bone grafting

Broader periodontal and surgical procedures as the program grows

Who This Role Is Ideal For

Certified Periodontist — new graduates are welcome to apply

Confident working independently in a GP referral environment

Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with multiple providers

Specialist interested in building and growing an in-house perio program over time

About You:

Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process

Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements

Valid CPR certification
