Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Periodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing periodontal (gum) diseases, as well as providing advanced periodontal therapies to improve patients' oral health and overall well-being. Your expertise will help transform smiles and restore confidence through comprehensive periodontal care. Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and other gum-related conditions using evidence-based methods.

Perform complex procedures such as dental implant placement, bone grafting, soft tissue grafts, and laser therapy.

Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, clinical examinations, and medical imaging analysis.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, disease prevention strategies, and post-treatment care instructions.

Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during all procedures.

Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation and treatment planning.

Stay current with the latest developments in periodontology, oral surgery, and related fields through ongoing education.

Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization in periodontics.

Proven experience in periodontal procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics integration, and dental fabrication techniques.

Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and healthcare diagnosis protocols.

Experience working in a dental clinic environment with pediatric dentistry exposure is advantageous.

Ability to perform procedures requiring aseptic technique and medical imaging interpretation confidently.

Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment planning and education.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with familiarity with state healthcare regulations governing dental practice.
