Permanent Part-Time Hygienist

We are a well-established, world renowned solo practitioner periodontal practice with a reputation built on precision, exceptional patient care, and a collaborative team environment. ## The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our specialized periodontal team in a long-term, 1 day per week, part-time capacity. This is a **Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday** TBD position — ideal for someone looking for a consistent, structured day in a focused clinical environment.

Our schedule is thoughtfully designed to support quality care and work-life balance:

- **8:00 AM** — Team arrives

- **8:30 AM** — First patient (1 hour per patient)

- **12:00 – 12:30 PM** — Notes and email time

- **1:00 – 2:00 PM** — Lunch break

- **4:00 PM** — Last patient of the day

- **5:00 PM** — End of day
Our practice uses **Dentrix and Dexis** software.
## Compensation
$51 – $60 per hour, commensurate with experience.
## Core Responsibilities

- Periodontal maintenance and cleanings

- Radiograph capture and interpretation as needed

- Oral health assessments

- Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
## Requirements

- **3+ years** of clinical dental hygiene experience

- Experience in a periodontal or specialty practice is a strong plus

- Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification

- Up-to-date Continuing Education Credits

- Proficiency with Dentrix and/or Dexis preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset
