Physician Assistant – General Surgery
Location: Walnut Creek, California
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $180,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)

About the Position
We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant to join our busy general surgery practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys caring for hospitalized patients and participating in emergency surgical care. The position is focused on inpatient and operative management with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Responsibilities
First assist in the operating room for a wide variety of general surgery procedures.
Evaluate and manage hospitalized surgical patients.
Perform admissions, consultations, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
Participate in emergency surgery cases.
Assist with perioperative patient management.
Collaborate closely with the attending surgeon and hospital staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Schedule
Full-time position
Includes overnight responsibilities
Additional call responsibilities shared with the surgical team
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA certification (or eligible if graduating soon)
Eligible for California PA licensure
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
Prior surgical experience is welcome but not required
