Physician / Medical Officer – Dentist

Position Overview
Inoventures is seeking a qualified Dentist to provide clinical, scientific, and public-health expertise in support of CDC programs. The Dentist will support scientific research, surveillance, program evaluation, evidence review, and other activities involving oral health and related public-health issues. The position requires the ability to apply dental and oral-health expertise in a multidisciplinary public-health environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Provide expert dental, oral-health, and clinical consultation to CDC scientific and public-health programs.
· Support planning, implementation, analysis, and evaluation of oral-health research, surveillance, and public-health initiatives.
· Interpret epidemiological, surveillance, research, and program data from a clinical and scientific perspective.
· Review scientific literature, research protocols, study methodologies, reports, manuscripts, presentations, recommendations, and other technical products.
· Assist with development of research questions, scientific objectives, study designs, analytical approaches, and evaluation strategies.
· Support surveillance and epidemiological activities related to oral health, dental disease, risk factors, prevention, treatment, and population-health outcomes.
· Assess scientific evidence and help translate findings into recommendations, guidance, program strategies, and research priorities.
· Participate in multidisciplinary scientific working groups, technical meetings, advisory activities, and project teams.
· Collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, physicians, researchers, environmental health scientists, and other scientific specialists.
· Support development and review of scientific publications, technical reports, presentations, educational materials, and other CDC products.

Required Qualifications
· D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental institution.
· Current professional qualifications, licensure, and credentials appropriate to practice dentistry and provide dental/oral-health expertise.
· Demonstrated professional experience in dentistry, oral health, dental research, public health, epidemiology, or a closely related field.
· Experience applying clinical expertise to research, surveillance, scientific analysis, program evaluation, or related health activities.
· Ability to critically evaluate scientific and clinical literature, research methodologies, data, and findings.
· Experience contributing to or reviewing scientific reports, protocols, manuscripts, presentations, guidance, or other technical products.
· Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary scientific and public-health teams.

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting CDC, HHS, another federal health agency, or a related public-health organization.
· Education or experience in public health, dental public health, epidemiology, health research, or population health.
· Experience with oral-health surveillance, epidemiological research, program evaluation, or population-based studies.
· Experience supporting federal scientific, research, or public-health programs.
· Peer-reviewed publications or demonstrated scientific research experience.

Experience translating clinical and scientific findings into public-health recommendations, interventions, policies, or research priorities.

Pay: $108,129.48 - $130,220.44 per year
