Job Description
Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Office Receptionist.
This position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, 32-40 hours per week.
The Physician Office Receptionist will perform administrative and clinical duties to support medical staff. Communicate with patients and work closely with healthcare professionals. Ability to use analytical skills to understand medical diagnosis and follow medical charts.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED Required
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Good knowledge of medical terminology
Use of correct terminology, spelling and grammar in documentation.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with various healthcare professionals, patients, families, and employees.
SKILLS:
Ability to work independently and with groups.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Annual CPR recertification
Ability to operate office equipment: computer, printers, fax machine, copy machine, telephone
