Job Description

Company Description Prosthodontic Associates of Long Island is a specialty dental practice focused on comprehensive Prosthodontic care for patients with complex restorative and aesthetic needs. We have a large private practice located in New Hyde Park, NY, the practice serves a diverse patient population seeking advanced treatment options and personalized care. Collaborative, patient-centered care and clear communication are core priorities in delivering excellent treatment outcomes.

Role Description This is a full-time or part-time, on-site Prosthodontist role based in New Hyde Park, NY. The Prosthodontist will evaluate and treat patients requiring complex restorative care, including fixed and removable prostheses, full-mouth rehabilitation, and implant-supported restorations. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive examinations, developing treatment plans, preparing teeth, taking impressions or digital scans, and delivering crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and other prosthodontic appliances. The role also involves coordinating care with general dentists and specialists, educating patients on treatment options and oral health, maintaining detailed clinical documentation, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols. The Prosthodontist will contribute to a positive office culture, support staff training on prosthodontic procedures, and stay current with advances in prosthodontics and related technologies.

Qualifications
Advanced clinical skills in Prosthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and restoration of complex cases.

Proficiency in general Dentistry and comprehensive Dental Care, with a strong focus on restorative and aesthetic outcomes.

Experience with Dentures (complete, partial, and implant-supported), including design, fabrication coordination, and adjustments.

Familiarity with Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery principles as they relate to implant placement, pre-prosthetic surgery, and multidisciplinary care.

DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school and completion of an accredited prosthodontics residency program.

Current, unrestricted dental license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of New York; board certification or board eligibility in Prosthodontics preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient education, empathy, and ethical practice.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and manage a consistent full-time on-site schedule.

Pay: $97.79 - $117.77 per hour
