Service Area: K–12 schools in the Purchase District Health Department region

Position Overview
Purchase District Health Department is seeking a Public Health Dentist to provide restorative services for students through the Tooth Transit in-school mobile dental program. Work is fully flexible and scheduled based on your availability during the school year, with care delivered in a fully equipped mobile dental unit alongside our hygiene team.

Compensation & Structure
Pay: $85.00/hr if Full-Time or Part-Time
Daily Pay: $900/day if daily pay schedule
Full-Time, Part-Time, or you choose the days you work; scheduling is fully flexible
No production requirements
Primary Responsibilities
Provide routine exams and screenings for K–12 students
Diagnose and treat common dental conditions
Perform basic restorative care (fillings, simple extractions, etc.)
Maintain accurate documentation within electronic dental systems
Coordinate with hygienists, school staff, and program leadership
Minimum Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited program
Active Kentucky dental license in good standing
Experience with pediatric populations preferred
Strong clinical skills in general restorative dentistry
Comfortable working independently in a mobile clinic setting
