Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of exceptional patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Experience with dental software and procedures, especially in orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly valued. Duties
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix.
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions.
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with safety standards.
Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care coordination and documentation.
Skills
Proficiency with dental software including Epic and Dentrix for record management.
Experience with orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, including sterilization and radiography (CAD experience is a plus).
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office administration is advantageous. This position requires a motivated individual committed to delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the clinical team with technical expertise and compassionate service.
Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
