Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RDA II (Registered Dental Assistant) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with experience in various clinical procedures and patient care. The RDA II will support the dental team by ensuring smooth operations, delivering high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Prior experience with GOLD is highly desirable to enhance clinical efficiency and patient experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, restorations, extractions, and endodontic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
Manage patient records accurately using Gold software system
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients with clear communication
Assist with pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring their comfort
Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with RDA certification or license
Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry practices
Familiarity with CAD systems for imaging and treatment planning
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients of all ages
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with a professional attitude toward patient care and collaboration.
