Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our ortho team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team with clinical procedures, and ensure a clean and safe environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention protocols. The RDA will work closely with patients and team members to deliver high-quality dental services in a professional and efficient manner.
Duties
Take and develop dental x-rays in accordance with safety standards and clinic protocols.
Perform dental sterilization procedures to maintain a sterile environment for all clinical activities.
Manage patient care by providing clear instructions, addressing questions, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Utilize patient management software to schedule appointments, update patient records, and facilitate smooth clinic operations.
Follow healthcare infection prevention and control guidelines to minimize risk and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Support team efforts in infection prevention management by adhering to all sterilization and sanitation protocols.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless clinic operations and excellent patient service.
Qualifications
Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting as an RDA or similar role.
Proficiency in dental x-ray techniques and safety procedures.
Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and infection control practices.
Familiarity with dental terminology and clinical workflows.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to manage patient interactions professionally.
Experience using patient management software is preferred, but willing to train.
Understanding of healthcare infection prevention standards and best practices.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
