```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Treatment coordination with knowledge and skills in insurance, fees, reimbursements and electronic billing. Ability to run the front and float whenever necessary.
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental assisting preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in medical imaging software (e.g., CAD)
- Experience assisting with dental procedures, including restorative, TMJ/Sleep, and periodontal treatments
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing processes
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
