RDA / Orthodontic Assistant

We need more help! Dorminey Orthodontics is a well-established, non-corporate, family-oriented Orthodontic practice. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, calming, and welcoming environment for our patients of all ages. We are seeking one full-time RDA (4 days a week, 30- 40 hrs, M-Th) or 2 part-time RDA’s (2 days a week each M-T or W-Th, 18- 20 hours - if we can find the right pair where the shared position will work).

Looking for team members who love the orthodontic field and treat our patients like the family they are to us. Applicants must be friendly, detail oriented and great communicators. We have two locations - one office is located in Elk Grove, the other in the Greenhaven / Pocket area of Sacramento. When one office is closed, the other is open.

Duties include but are not limited to:

*Collaborate with the doctor to deliver exceptional patient care from start to finish in all types of orthodontic treatments.

*Engage patients and family members in a friendly and informative manner.

*Taking records including photos, x-rays, and digital scans.

*Scheduling appointments, answering phones, other front of the office help when needed.

*Sterilization of instruments and treatment areas.

*Other general duties including light cleaning, ordering, inventory, etc.

Experience:

*Ortho experience preferred but not required

*RDA license (or applicants getting ready to test)

*Coronal polishing, X-ray license, CPR certification

*Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus but is not required
Hourly/Salary is DOE.

Part-time benefits include paid holidays which land on regularly scheduled work days, sick pay, and uniform allowance.
