Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our vibrant dental team, On WEDNESDAY EVENINGS from 4PM-8PM. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough cleanings, patient education, and maintaining optimal oral health. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health.
Assist with patient management by reviewing medical histories, updating charts, and ensuring all documentation is accurate in Dentrix or similar dental software.
Support the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and managing patient comfort.
Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Experience working in a dental office setting with proficiency in dental assisting tasks preferred.
Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with a broader range of patients.
Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate charting and communication.
