Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in office software. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner, maintaining positive customer interactions
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, directing calls appropriately
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Perform data entry tasks accurately, including maintaining patient or client records
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including filing, photocopying, and document management
Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and QuickBooks entry as needed
Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, organizing files, and managing office supplies
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries efficiently and professionally
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Requirements
Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting, preferably with medical or dental offices
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software like QuickBooks
Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
Ability to handle customer service interactions professionally and courteously
Experience with filing systems, record keeping, and general office procedures
Familiarity with medical or dental office operations is a plus but not required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Reliable work ethic with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Indigenous cultural knowledge is considered an asset
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
