Consistent, professional dress and manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good time management skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Receptionist experience preferred
Responsibilities of the Receptionist
Greeting all visitors to the nursing home, answering questions, and guiding them to proper locations
Answering phones, taking messages, and returning phone calls
Organizing transportation for patients needing to keep appointments at outside facilities
Performing clerical duties such as copying, faxing, emailing, etc.
Routing calls, messages, faxes, and performing other clerical tasks
Ordering and maintaining inventory supplies
Providing basic information about the services of the nursing home to clients
Receiving and forwarding admission inquiries to the marketing department
