Job Description
Therapeutic Associates Bethany Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team. Schedules are flexible, and students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are encouraged to apply.

How you will make an impact
Responsible for greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate staff
Answers the phone and appropriately routes calls
Schedules and confirms new and returning patient appointment(s)
Minimizes cancellations and empty appointment slots
Collects co-payments at time of service and collects patient insurance and privacy forms
Compiles and records medical charts, reports and correspondence
Educates patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
Assists with physical therapy aide duties, when applicable
Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership
What you will need to bring to the table
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred - students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are strongly preferred.
