Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist/Administrator to join our team! This vital role offers the opportunity to be the welcoming face of our office while efficiently managing administrative operations. You'll handle front desk responsibilities, coordinate patient and client communications, and support daily office functions with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
Greet patients, clients, visitors, and staff warmly, creating a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and professionally
Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars using dental or medical practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
Verify patient or client information, ensuring accuracy in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other databases
Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, billing support, and document management
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Assist with insurance verification, patient check-in/check-out procedures, and payment processing
Skills
Proven experience as a dental receptionist or medical office administrator with strong office experience
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic; knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) is highly desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare professionals and patients
Excellent communication skills to handle front desk interactions confidently and professionally
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy office setting
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and record keeping
Prior experience working in a medical or dental office environment is preferred
