Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, providing exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our dental clinic or hospital setting, managing clerical tasks, and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.

Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.

Perform medical scheduling and coordinate care plans with healthcare professionals.

Conduct insurance verification for patients to ensure coverage and eligibility.

Maintain accurate patient records within electronic health record systems such as Epic.

Assist with clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized documentation.

Collaborate with dental or medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.

Address patient concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality.

Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental clinic or hospital setting is preferred.

Familiarity with medical scheduling processes and insurance verification is highly desirable.

Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic health record systems (Epic experience is a plus).

Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient information.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, enabling effective interaction with patients from diverse backgrounds.
