Receptionists are often the first point of contact for patients visiting Cleveland Clinic. Your warm smile, positive attitude, and compassionate, empathetic approach help create a welcoming environment and set the tone for each patient's experience. As a Receptionist supporting the Q5 Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to patients, families, and caregivers while ensuring the efficient daily operations of the unit. Your dedication and professionalism will help deliver the outstanding care and experience Cleveland Clinic is known for.
A caregiver in this role works a rotating day/evening schedule consisting of two 12-hour shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.) and two 8-hour shifts (12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) each week. Some Saturday shifts are required, and caregivers rotate holidays that fall during the workweek.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform receptionist functions for assigned areas and/or departments.
Greet guests and provide appropriate assistance and information.
Receive, screen, route and respond to incoming telephone calls.
Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery.
Comply with privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating with callers and guests.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
One year of related experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Two years of college and/or business school
Physical Requirements:
Clear verbal communications skills to represent CCHS in an intelligent, professional, and courteous manner.
Personal Protective Equipment :
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $15.00
Maximum hourly: $18.44
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
