Job Description
Receptionist
Summary
The Children’s Center Utah is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to perform front desk administrative support, office support and clerical duties as needed for our new office opening in Lehi, UT. This position will spend a couple of weeks training in our West Valley City office before moving down to the Lehi office when it opens.
Responsibilities
Answer multi-line telephone
Greet and check in clients, visitors and volunteers
Schedule for multiple clinicians
Create client records and update and verify patient information
Manage medical records information for the Center such that client clinical information is organized effectively and efficiently and staff have appropriate information for clinical decision making
Prepare information to be sent to other agencies in response to information requests, following agency procedures, in a timely manner
Take intake information and update records as needed
Help manage the electronics medical records system
Assist Medical Records Clerk as needed
Work closely with other front office staff and clinicians
Open building in the morning or secure building at night

Requirements
Minimum one year of reception experience working with multi-line phones preferred
Prior experience working in a medical office with experience working in an electronic medical records system preferred
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
Excellent customer service skills
Dependable, organized, with a friendly and professional personality
Basic knowledge of office machines such as copiers, printers, etc.
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication STRONGLY preferred
Schedule
Onsite Monday-Friday during office hours
Compensation
$17-18/hour DOE and bilingual ability
