Medical Receptionist
Our physician office in Maryville is expanding, and we are excited to add a new Medical Receptionist to our team. We are a privately owned practice that offers excellent hours, competitive compensation, and a positive, supportive work environment.

Schedule (hours may vary slightly)
Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Summary
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for scheduling patient follow-up appointments, processing payments, answering incoming phone calls, and assisting patients or directing calls to the appropriate staff member. This position will also be cross-trained in patient check-in and check-out procedures to provide additional front-office support as needed. Other duties include electronic faxing, printing daily schedule, scanning and mailing documents to patients, updating patient demographics, and verifying insurances.

We have an outstanding team and are looking for a dependable, patient-focused individual who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications
Required:
2 years of medical office experience (preferred)
Strong customer service skills
Proficiency with medical office software and computer systems (preferred)
Experience operating a multi-line phone system
Experience scheduling appointments for multiple providers
Ability to adapt and work effectively in various front-office roles
