Job Description
When's the last time a job actually noticed you?
Not when you clocked in five minutes late - when you walked in the room.
You spend over a third of your life at work. That's a lot of hours to spend somewhere that doesn't feel like it sees you.
We built something different.
Does this sound like you?
Off the clock, you might be someone who ran the front desk at a salon, hosted at a busy restaurant, worked retail during the holiday rush, or was the one every friend group counted on to plan things and keep everyone on schedule. You remember how people like their coffee. You can calm down a nervous kid in the waiting room and a stressed-out parent in the same breath, without missing the phone ringing behind you. You're organized without being rigid, warm without losing track of the details, and you genuinely like being the first face someone sees.
If that's you, keep reading. If it's not, we probably aren't the fit - and that's okay.
The Practice
Brush Pediatric Dentistry is a growing, state-of-the-art, private pediatric dentistry practice with locations in Hinsdale and Downers Grove. We're led by Dr. Mira Albert, a National Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Dr. Maggie Rizzo, who runs our Downers Grove team, where this role is based. We're looking for a dental receptionist to join our upbeat, supportive, high-performing front desk team - no dental experience required.
Here's the thing about this job
We spend a lot of time together, so we're intentional about building a work environment that's positive, collaborative - and yes, the GOAT of workplaces. We're not hiring for what you already know how to do at a dental office - we're hiring for who you are, and we'll teach you the rest.
So here's a real question: does this sound like the parts of the job you're already good at, even if you learned them somewhere else entirely?
Greeting people and making them feel at ease - patients and families, walking in the door
Answering phones, juggling a schedule, and keeping things moving without dropping the ball
Learning a system for insurance verification and treatment plans (we'll train you)
Keeping accurate records and staying on top of the details
Communicating with a team to keep the whole day running smoothly
If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and love helping families feel at ease, we want to meet you.
What changes if you come to work here
Bring the right energy, and we'll bring the training. Competitive pay, real benefits, and a culture that doesn't feel like a script.
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Good music, bad jokes, and a team that actually likes each other - that's the vibe. Our values: integrity, teamwork, accountability, inclusiveness, innovation, social responsibility.
