Referral Coordinator/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic referral coordinator who is also skilled with front desk/reception tasks.

We are a very busy clinic with 15+ new referrals coming in daily, so we are looking for someone who is skilled with time management, organization, and is passionate about helping patients and educating them on what we do at our clinic.

In regard to front desk duties, the ideal candidate would be able to balance their role in referrals while supporting our other staff members at the front when needed.

Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and return voicemails
Greet patients warmly and create a positive environment at check in
Collect balances and copays from patients at check in
Educate patients on the treatments and services our clinic offers
Maintain a quick and efficient turnaround time for referrals
Verify insurance eligibility and inform patients of their copays
Effective utilization of EHR software
Create charts in EHR
Schedule patients
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of prior experience in referral management
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to work well with others
Strong time management skills
Strong organization skills
Understanding of insurance eligibility and benefits
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
