Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options
Assist with patient examinations and recordkeeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Provide support during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric care
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas
Bilingual communication with patients to improve understanding and comfort (preferred)
Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and documentation
Skills
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state requirements
Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental office management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
Experience in dental assisting or working within a busy dental practice is highly desirable
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings (preferred)
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
