Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience will be an asset, Fresh graduates with no experience are also encouraged to apply in confidence.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
And other associated duties with RDA job will be discussed more on interview day.
Skills
Proficiency in Dental Assisting with knowledge of general dentistry practice.
Familiarity with dental softwares for managing patient records.
Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Experience in a dental receptionist role is a plus but not mandatory.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
