Overview
We are a small, close-knit dental office looking for a dependable, positive, and motivated Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and being a strong member of our team.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team-not simply come to work and do the minimum. Someone who wants to continue learning, improving, and building value in their role. The ideal candidate is someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative, works well in a busy environment, accepts feedback constructively, and approaches challenges with a "how can I help?" and solution-focused attitude.
Duties
Provide efficient and attentive chair side assistance to the dentist.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management protocols.
Anticipate the doctor's needs during treatment and help maintain efficient patient flow.
Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation.
Use available downtime productively for cleaning, stocking, organization, and other assigned responsibilities.
Provide patients with clear instructions and help them feel comfortable, respected and cared for.
Follow through with assigned duties without requiring repeated reminders.
Support coworkers when additional help as needed
Participate in team meetings and contribute constructive ideas and possible solutions.
Continue developing knowledge of dental procedures, materials, technology and office systems.
Qualifications
Valid registration as a Dental Assistant.
Dental assisting experience preferred. Willing to train new graduates.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain organized and productive during a busy schedule.
Strong attention to detail.
Competence in taking dental X-rays.
Familiarity with dental equipment operation including 3D scanners and other diagnostic tools used in modern clinics.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Ability to accept direction and feedback professionally.
