Registered Dental Assistant

Venta Care Centre is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care for our long-term care residents. This is a part-time position requiring 3 days a week.

Position Details:
· Part-time: 3 days per week (specific days negotiable)
· Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
· Start Date: "ASAP"
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the dentist with procedures, including exams, cleanings, and treatment for long-term care residents
· Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
· Take dental X-rays and assist in charting patient records
· Support residents throughout procedures with kindness and patience
· Educate residents and their families about dental care needs
· Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications:
· Dental Assistant Certification
· Experience in long-term care or geriatrics a plus
· Compassionate, patient, and excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong organizational and communication skills
