Overview
Schuyler Dental is seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, community-focused practice. This role is central to guiding our dental team, ensuring excellent patient care, and supporting our advanced digital workflows.
Duties
Oversee daily clinical operations and support an efficient, patient-first workflow.
Assist chairside for general, restorative, surgical, and pediatric procedures.
Coordinate patient care and ensure accurate, HIPAA-compliant records.
Mentor clinical staff in chairside assisting, infection control, and best practices.
Perform and manage dental imaging (digital X-rays, intraoral scans, CBCT).
Support integration of advanced technologies: CAD/CAM, 3D printing, CO₂ laser dentistry, and robotic implant surgery.
Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and assistants to deliver seamless care.
Contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented team culture.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment.
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols (training provided).
Familiarity with Open Dental or similar software is a plus.
Desire to grow into and expand clinical skills.
