Job Description
Design Dentistry is a well-established, modern dental practice in West Edmonton seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant.
This is a new position as we expand our existing team. We can work with the ideal candidate on an ideal schedule and we are open to either part-time or full-time. Evening and weekend availability is a requirement.

The Role
You will be a key driver of patient experience:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and surgeries
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans - iTero experience is an asset
Perform chairside duties efficiently while maintaining a calm, patient-focused environment
Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and sterilization protocols
Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
Support smooth clinic flow by coordinating with the administrative and clinical teams
Help create a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for patients of all ages
Who You Are
Experienced Registered Dental Assistant licensed in Alberta and in good standing with appropriate regulatory body
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organized and detail-oriented
We use Open Dental and Max Assist. Experience is an asset, but training is provided.
Compensation & Perks
Salary commensurate with experience
Long weekends off

Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Office Manager, with clear expectations and support in place to help you succeed.

This role is ideal for someone who:
Is flexible to help with front desk from time to time, such as to cover sick days or during admin team meetings. Training will be provided.
Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
Genuinely enjoys connecting with patients and creating a positive experience
Wants to be part of a well-run, experienced team — not a revolving-door clinic
