Registered Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused Dental Assistant to join our periodontal specialty practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. They thrive in a surgical setting, work efficiently, and enjoy collaborating with a supportive team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

This is part-time position Monday-Wednesday 7:30AM-4:30PM.

Responsibilities:
Assist the periodontist during exams and surgical procedures such as dental implants, gum grafting, scaling and root planning, etc.

Prepare operatories for exams or procedures
Take dental radiographs and impressions as needed
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Maintain accurate patient records
Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols
Help create a calm, comfortable experience for every patient
Qualifications:
Dental assisting experience required
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
Current Registered Dental Assistant and CPR Certification
Dentrix and DTX Studio experience
