Registered Dental Assistant

Lume Dental is a new small dental office in Red Deer. We are committed to exceptional dental care and our clinic is located in a nice neighborhood with ample parking. We have brand new modern equipment and are excited for what the future holds!

Lume Dental is looking for a maternity leave position starting roughly end of August, beginning of September. Term would be until roughly September 2027 with potential for remaining longer.

-Days/hours would be:
Mon 8-4
Tues 11-7
Wed 8-4
Thurs 8-4
Fri 8-3
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Take dental xrays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform basic tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating bleach trays, essixes, sports guards and temporary crowns

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories

- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar

- Provide support to the front desk as needed

-General duties as needed to ensure a clean and smooth running dental clinic
Qualifications:

- RDA license Alberta

- Proficiency in Cleardent an asset but not required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
