Job Description
Responsibilities
-Assist the dentist during dental procedures, assist with hygienist during down time.
-Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
-Take Dental X-rays
-Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during procedures
-Educate patients on post-operative care instructions
-Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history
-Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Skills
-Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including aseptic technique and chair-side assisting
-Understanding of medical records management and documentation practices
-Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
-Experience with scanning for dental restorations is a plus
-Excellent communication skills and ability to provide patient education on oral hygiene practices
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
