Registered Dental Assistant – Periodontics Practice (Full-Time)
About the Position
We are a busy, well-established periodontics and dental implant practice seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced surgical environment and values high standards of patient care, teamwork, and professionalism.
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist periodontists during surgical and implant procedures (training provided if needed)
Sterilization and infection-control procedures following OSHA guidelines
Prepare treatment rooms and seat patients
Support treatment planning and patient flow
Take dental radiographs (FMX and CBCT preferred; training available depending on role)
Maintain accurate dental charting and documentation
Provide direct patient interaction with a calm, professional demeanor
Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members
Qualifications
RDA license preferred
Prior dental experience strongly preferred (especially in oral surgery or periodontics)
Will consider motivated entry-level candidates for sterile tech role
Knowledge of dental terminology and basic assisting skills is a plus
Ability to learn radiography (FMX and CBCT)
CPR certification (must be current or obtained shortly after hire)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
