Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for use in accordance with infection control policies.

Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and dental X-ray machines while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.

Manage patient records efficiently using Dentrix Ascend
Provide chairside assistance through four-handed dentistry techniques, supporting the dentist seamlessly during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.

Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and answer questions related to dental terminology and procedures.

Perform routine dental instrument processing and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of infection prevention management.

Support front desk responsibilities by acting as a dental receptionist when needed, managing appointment scheduling through patient management software, and ensuring smooth patient flow from check-in to check-out.

Qualifications
Valid license or certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current registration where applicable.

Experience in general dentistry preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and X-ray procedures.

Expertise in infection prevention management including sterilization procedures and aseptic technique to ensure clinical safety.

Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work effectively in a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry.
