Job Description
Dental Assistant / Front Office
We are seeking a reliable, adaptable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant, with the ability to learn Front office systems, to join our team. This is a dual-role position, full time or potentially part time, supporting both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental practice.
We are a collaborative and supportive office that values professionalism, teamwork, and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both chairside and at the front desk as needed.
Responsibilities
Clinical (Dental Assistant):
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
Ensure proper infection control and OSHA compliance
Provide patient education and support during treatment
Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day
Front Office:
Greet and check in/check out patients
Answer phone calls and assist with scheduling appointments
Verify insurance and collect patient payments as needed
Support treatment plan presentation and patient coordination
Assist with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications
Previous dental assisting experience required
Experience in front office or customer service a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Knowledge of dental software and dental terminology
