Sackville Dental Centre is a privately owned clinic (Dr. Michael Lo) in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by preparing patients, assisting with procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow. Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures
Take dental radiographs
Manage patient records using dental software (We use Power Practice)
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
Requirements
Must have a current Level II license.
Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Familiarity with dental software
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
