Registered Dental Assistant

Overview:
Our innovative clinic on south Edmonton is seeking skilled part time Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in dental assisting and be knowledgeable in various dental procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Take dental X-rays and familiarized with x-ray software

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments

- Provide patients with post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Administration duties as needed, candidate will be cross trained between front and back
Requirements:

- Previous 1 year experience in dental assisting

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Friendly personality and willing to learn new skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Dental Administration

- Orthodontics (Invisalign)

- Medical terminology

- Comfortable calling patients and making appointments

- Sending Electronic claims and handling receptionist duties
