Job Description
Job Summary:
Temple Dental Wellness is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing practice. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care, works well in a collaborative environment, and is committed to maintaining high clinical standards.
Whether you are an experienced RDA or a newer graduate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Wednesday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Minimum one Saturday per month required
Duties:
Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental treatment
Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
Perform instrument sterilization and maintain infection prevention and control standards
Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and inventory
Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient
Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented workplace culture
Requirements:
Applicants must have:
A valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Alberta and be in good standing with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA)
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
A positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care
Strong understanding of insurance and treatment coordination processes
2 to 3 years of experience with Dentrix software
Compensation:
