Registered Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our new and flourishing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. You will assist one of our dentists across various locations, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.

Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Cleardent, Akitu, and Gold.

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.

Maintain sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area in accordance with health regulations.

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting practices with hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Familiarity with dental software systems. Experience with Cleardent considered an asset.

Experience with iTero Scans.

Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure.
