Registered Dental Assistant

Jackson Dental is seeking a motivated, compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is eager to continue developing their clinical skills.

We prefer candidates who are a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and/or hold current dental radiography certification in the State of South Dakota. However, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to patient care.

This position offers the opportunity to grow within multiple areas of dentistry based on experience, skill set, and career goals.

Responsibilities
Depending on experience and practice needs, responsibilities may include:
Assisting dentists during restorative, surgical, and emergency procedures
Supporting hygiene appointments and patient flow
Assisting with implant and oral surgery procedures
Assisting with sedation dentistry procedures
Taking dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
Preparing treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
Educating patients on treatment recommendations and oral health
Documenting clinical notes and treatment information
Maintaining inventory and clinical supplies
Supporting a positive patient experience from check-in through treatment completion

Qualifications
Preferred:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Current South Dakota Dental Radiography Certification
Previous dental assisting experience
CPR Certification

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
