Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team for a position from Wednesday to Friday. Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 6pm & Fridays from 8am to 4pm, with potential of additional day on Saturday when needed. Can offer only Wednesdays and Thursdays as well if only 2 days are wanted. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures when required and perform various patient care, sterilization and laboratory duties. Offering competitive wages and uniforms. Free onsite parking.
Responsibilities
-children cleanings
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize dental instruments, prepare operatories
- Hand instruments to dentists during procedures
- Instruct patients on proper dental hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Assist with dental X-rays and lab tasks
Requirements
- Certification in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix an asset
- Experience in sterilization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
