Registered Dental Assistant/ Dental Assistant

At Blair Family Dentistry, we are looking to add a hardworking, motivated, and positive individual to our wonderful team. We are seeking someone who is encouraging, supportive, dependable, and respectful to both our doctors and fellow team members.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. While we prefer candidates with at least one year of dental experience, we are happy to train the right person if they would be a great fit for our office culture.

Responsibilities include:
● Greeting and seating patients with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
● Preparing patients for dental procedures by:
● Reviewing medical histories
● Taking blood pressures
● Obtaining signatures on necessary forms
● Taking digital X-rays
● Escorting patients to the front office for checkout.
● Cleaning and setting up operatories according to OSHA standards.
● Sterilizing dental instruments.
● Assisting doctors and supporting the clinical team as needed, including:
● Helping hygienists with periodontal charting
● Placing sealants
● Taking and pouring alginate impressions and capturing digital impressions.
● Operating a 3D printer to fabricate bite splints, surgical guides, models, and other appliances.
● Assisting with CEREC crown procedures.
● Answering phones and assisting with appointment scheduling when needed.

Position Details:
● Full-time position (approximately 32–35 hours per week)
● Office hours:
● Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
● Occasional half-day Fridays
