Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection prevention management and aseptic techniques
Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures
Take dental x-rays ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety protocols
Experience with Eaglesoft and ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Provide chairside assistance by managing dental instruments, taking vital signs, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient treatment delivery
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies
Maintain dental equipment functionality and cleanliness
Requirements
Proficiency in X-ray techniques, dental x-ray safety standards, and infection control protocols
Ability to process dental instruments efficiently and maintain high standards of sterilization according to infection prevention management guidelines
Excellent communication skills
