Job Description
About Us: A well-established dental practice in the south side of Edmonton, dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to our community is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to Join Riverbend Square Dental Centre.
We are a busy practice that provides a wide scope of dentistry so you will not be bored at this office! We have an amazing team that enjoys to work together in our newly renovated office! If you are looking for the benefits of a big office with a small office atmosphere, you have found it with us!
We are a supported office with sterilization technicians so you can take that off your plate and just focus on chairside assisting!
Responsibilities:
Lead the treatment chair with care and precision of a busy schedule
Prepare and help sterilize instruments and equipment as needed
Take dental images, scans and radiology as directed
Record patient medical histories and vital signs and any concerns
Provide patients with oral care and post op instructions following procedures
Ensure patient comfort and manage anxiety during treatments
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation every day by end of day.
Perform routine office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Registered Dental Assistant certification
Previous experience in a dental office preferred but will train the right person
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in dental software and technology
Ortho module an asset.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday No weekends
1-2 evenings a week
Wage will be reflective on experience and attitude.
