Registered Dental Assistant — Experienced RDA

Texan Smile Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing private dental practice in Sugar Land.

We are seeking someone with approximately 3+ years of dental assisting experience who is dependable, friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced family and cosmetic dental office. The ideal candidate should be confident assisting with general dentistry procedures, taking x-rays, preparing rooms, supporting patient flow, and helping create a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during general and cosmetic dental procedures
Take digital x-rays and intraoral images
Prepare and break down treatment rooms
Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
Review and update patient medical history
Help explain treatment steps to patients in a friendly, professional manner
Set up trays and materials for procedures
Support smooth patient flow throughout the day
Maintain cleanliness and organization of operatories and lab areas
Help with inventory and dental supply tracking
Communicate clearly with the front office and clinical team
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board requirements
Qualifications
Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant license
Approximately 3+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
X-ray certification required
CPR/BLS required
Experience with general dentistry procedures
Comfortable with digital dental technology
OpenDental experience required
Strong communication and patient care skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
