We’re seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
What You'll Do:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
Assist chairside during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.
Prepare, set up, and break down treatment rooms to maintain a clean, welcoming, and fully stocked environment.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to strict infection control protocols.
Manage lab cases: check them in, communicate with labs, and ensure cases are ready in advance of patient appointments.
Take accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed.
Anticipate dentist and hygienist needs during procedures to ensure efficiency.
Maintain supply inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate before placing orders.
Accurately chart treatment notes and patient data into Eaglesoft (our practice management software).
Ensure next-day trays and setups are prepped in advance.
Review schedules to confirm all necessary materials, instruments, and lab work are ready.
Provide clear pre-op and post-op instructions to patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish to create comfort and trust.
Monitor equipment and promptly report any issues to the office manager.
Participate in team huddles and contribute to maintaining a positive, efficient workflow.
Support sterilization area and rotation of instruments throughout the day.
Assist in training new assistants as the practice grows.
