Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EXP Dental Assistant to join our dental team. As an assistant, you will need to provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient dental procedures across various specialties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to excellence in dental health.
We are looking to fill Monday-Thursday hours, 8am-6pm
Duties
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection control protocols
Take dental X-rays, including CBCT scans, while ensuring proper positioning and safety measures are followed
Record detailed medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment notes using Eaglesoft
Qualifications
An active dental assistant license for state of WA
Must have at least ONE YEAR of chair side assistaning in a general office setting
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques
